Been in the DB for 3 days now. Just noticing it?
From what we were told both the new channels are ENC and the old channel will be used for Inter Op and kept analog. With everything that's happened in New York, Chicago, Vegas, NOLA, etc going ENC is really the only responsible move forward for a major tourist attraction like Salem. They'll still have a channel available for I/O and the use of BAPERN when they need it while keeping the bulk of their work secure.
I know as soon as I have the last of my old radios replaced we'll be going the same direction.
