Salina Regional Health Center Fire Alarm

Salina FD was dispatched to Salina Regional Health Center on an automatic fire alarm. Quint 1, Medic 1, Engine 2, Ladder 3, Quint 4 and 53 responded. While enroute hospital called and advised alarm was coming from the Labor and Delivery area.

Upon arrival it was determined that alarm was caused by a water detector under a sink had shorted out.

Scanning was exciting in Salina for a few minutes.

Hey Rick, How many fire stations are in Salina?

Salina has four fire stations. They plan to expand Station 2 into some sort of power station. It will get the new Haz Mat truck and they will relocate Rescue 3 and Ladder 3 (an aerial platform).
