Salina Update

For those listening to Salina on the scanner a couple of changes have occurred in the last couple of days.

Vehicle relocation. Ladder 3 has moved from station 3 to station 2 and is now Ladder 2. Rescue 3 has moved from station 3 to station 1 and is now Rescue 1. These moves were purposed by a consultant in the past and have been completed since the addition to station 2 and approval by the new fire chief.

Quint 4 apparently is the victim of street flooding and is out of surface after drowning out while responding to an alarm at the Penn Campus of Salina Regional Hospital. It spent the weekend at Station 1 and I saw it on a wrecker getting hauled off somewhere as I was leaving work tonight.

Station 4 is now running with a reserve engine, Engine 5.

i was read on the journal's web site the pd lost two cars in the flood also. marymount and glen always flooded is that where the quint drowned at

Quint 4 is back in service. When it hit the water it hit so hard it knocked the radiator back into the engine.

could any help me please i have a pro-2053 the problems i am having is that other police from other countys jumping over junction city pd and also the channels go in and out and some times when they talking it makes lound sounds hard to hear some times
