Wow, thanks for the update. It looks like it will be a great system for them, the signal strength is more than double that of their existing Edacs system at my location.

Has anyone been able to track down the license for the new system? I can't find anything and they are set to go live pretty soon.

I'm told LE is mostly encrypted. Fire and EMS mostly not encrypted.

Here is a link to some of the McPherson County Information. I think there may be an address error in the database because some of them are listed as Gypsum, KS. I am starting to see traffic on the McPherson County System but have not been able to decode any audio or ID's yet. I haven't located anything on the Saline County system.

I believe that's the only Saline tower right now, located at the KHP Academy. The others you listed are neighbors of McPherson, Saline, or both.

How do you go about finding talkgroup ID numbers? I'm hearing PD/SO paging but not much else.

You need to use a wildcard. What scanner are you using? If your still using a TRX-1 check out this link. TRX-1, Wildcard Help & Logging Radio IDs

I tested the system on an old Radio Shack Pro-106 today and the PD/SO talkgroups seem to track fine, but FD and other talkgroup conversation tracking is very sporadic. Here is a list of talkgroups that my RTL-SDR & DSD Plus has picked up.

Yes, still using the TRX-1. My biggest obstacle is trying to do this on the scanner since I have no computer. But I'm trying.
