San Antone back!!!

Well, this always seems to cause controversy as it flys in the face of reason, but I'm hearing San Antone EMS on 869.9650 as "Medic 41" responding to " 1008 W. 1st" on a 39 year old female OD.

Now this is weird as we have no inversion I know off, no storms, no cloud cover from Austin to S.A. this evening at 23:05 CST when I'm hearing this.

Searched S.A. Database and can't find 869.9650 though I must have programed it from somewhere as the ID says SAPD Npatrol which would indicate SAPD North Patrol.

My humble 1/4 wave grtound plane hung from ceiling is antenna, Pro-96 is the radio.

Any thoughts out there?

Just got weirder. (glad I'm Cleared-For-Weird and Clearance is Intact.)

I checked the WIN96 file and this freq is not there! The scanner has a mind of it's own?
Reception is growing crappier at 22:14 CST, but it's there.

Anyone ID this freq or scanner behavior?

Talking to self, again it seems.

Nothing on Bank5, S.A., this evening. Weird that they were there last evening.

Current time is 00:18 CST or is it CDT? WTF knows. It's the Summer of 2006 so this may very well be CDT... I get confused, so I think I'll convert everything to GMT as this is constant and non-political...
