I was wondering if someone could help me out with some frequencies for the different media outlets in San Antonio? I have taken note of what is listed on RR but I was wondering about News4 WOAI-TV, KENS5 and other radio/tv stations.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thank You.

if it isn't on the local Industrial Communications LTR Passport system, it's Nextel or some other PCS phone network.

generally speaking, the news media don't have an emergent communications need...

Mr_Hankey summed it up pretty good. Based on my observations on any major event in SA where the media has been present, there aren't alot in ways of conventional radio systems for communications back to the news director, etc...

WOAI relies heavily on Nextel, SA Express News, relies on cellular, and I believe, Telemundo TV41 relies on LTR Passport system.

450.6125 is the KSAT 12 news desk to communicate with field crews, but they are usually not that busy with radio traffic

Thank you. Would you happen to know what KENS5 or WOAI-TV would be using to talk to their helicopters?

Here are some licenses for KENS:
161.64 KB55235
455.05 KKW854
455.55 KKW854

Assuming they are not on a trunked system, you will usually find the media helicopters using 161.64-161.76 or 450.xxxx/455.xxxx frequencies. If you're looking for FCC licenses, look at the "RP" radio service code licenses.
