Hey all, figured that I would start a thread just for the new systems and setups in San Bernardino county so we can all try and consolidate the information into one place instead of multiple posts. Post here any TGID's from the new P25 system and we can confirm and try and get alpha tags and uses. Also post any new information about the rebanded analog systems.

From a radio, got the CC frequencies for the analog systems. Nothing too surprising, just a 15MHz split into the rebanded frequencies. Systems 1, 5 and 9 are splinter systems. From all I've been hearing on system 4, there is not much going on, in fact, nothing at all on the analog system so far. Everything has been on the digital system.

System 1 (2831)- 860.0125, 859.9500, 860.1625, 859.4500, 859.1125, 858.4500, 851.1500, 866.1500
System 4 (512C)- 852.9500, 867.9500, 852.5750, 867.5750, 852.0750, 867.0750, 851.9500, 866.9500
System 5 (263D)- 859.3125, 859.9750, 858.9625, 858.9500, 854.2875, 857.9750, 857.5625, 856.4500
System 6/7 (3C33)- 853.3375, 868.3375, 853.1625, 868.1625, 853.6125, 868.6125, 853.3875, 868.3875
System 8 (363F)- 853.6875, 868.6875, 852.8375, 867.8375, 852.3375, 867.3375, 851.6875, 866.6875
System 9 (262C)- 853.8375, 868.8375, 853.4125, 868.4125, 853.3625, 868.3625, 853.1875, 868.1875

Admins, any chance of making this a sticky? Would be super helpful instead of searching through several threads as mentioned. Thank you!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you can disregard all of the control channels above in the 868.xxxx range, this was so the radio you read the channels from would function "pre-rebanding".

Has anyone been able to confirm that System 9, OPD dispatch is only digital and not encrypted? Or did they encrypt all their channels?

I was hopeful because someone had posted the ID lineup and said dispatch was digital while everything else was encrypted...

Folks, I have updated the database with new frequencies I personally confirmed were active within the last week (in most cases, within the last couple days). I did this for all County systems and P25 sites I can receive at my location. That would be systems 6/7, 8, 9, and P25 sites 1-13, 1-20, 1-21, 1-22, and 1-23.

These updates are the result of monitoring the control channels all of these systems and sites in Unitrunker for many hours over several days.

I was careful to only remove frequencies with compelling reasons for removal. The frequencies removed lacked any use within the last few weeks and either (1) were confirmed active within the last week on a different system/site with overlapping coverage area, or (2) had the corresponding rebanded frequency (-15 MHz) active on the same system/site within the last week.

When programming the 436 on the ARC536 software, should I set San Bernardino trunked systems to splinter or custom/rebanded?

When it comes to the P25 system what do the system settings need to look like for scanners?
I’m using FreeScan and I just uploaded the systems through the software with RR.
I’m scanning all the sites with ID Search but unfortunately none of the CC’s are being recognized

Any word on when SBCoFD will switch everyone over to the P25 system? There seems to be a lot more of the digital sounding traffic now.
