San Diego, City of (Public Safety) System

:? I am unable to trunk track this system, after doing so for about five years now. Suddenly, none of the frequencies in this system are carrying a control channel. I have individually listened to each channel in a non trunk tracking scanner with the same results. I can hear voice communications (in a non trunked mode) loud and clear, but no control channel data on any frequency. I have verified and re-verified all of the frequencies.

Is anyone else experiencing the same symptoms? Have they added new frequencies? Or?

Are the frequencies on solid, with an occasional beep? If so the system may be in failsoft mode. The controller may have failed or is being updated. When this happens groups go to an individual repeater and have to share the air on that frequency.

I'm picking up the system now with no problems. The control channel is currently on 860.025.
