I am just wondering if there is anything special I should know about programming the City of San Diego trunked system. I am currently in San Diego with a PRO-2096 and a BCD396T, however neither of them will track the system properly. Is there something different about this system?

In the meantime, the RCS system is working great!

its called a splinter system but within 70 miles of border a different set of frequencies are used than in the heartland of the US. Setting it for splinter tells the computer how to react to the frequency assignment made on the control channel.
