Hello all,
I will be in San Diego next week for two days and I was wondering where I might find an up to date p96 file of San Diego County public safety radio systems for my Pro-96? If you can point me to a place that I can download one online or perhaps share yours, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thank you,
Todd

I have one, but it's optimized for the Northern inland part of San Diego County rather than for the San Diego metropolitan area. For instance, I monitor CHP, Escondido PD and San Diego County Sheriff, but not San Diego City PD.

You might find that the v-folder entries for the San Diego area do the trick well enough for you.

Quick and dirty just program in both the San Diego City PD trunked system and the San Diego County RCS with both in open mode rather than closed mode. That'll get you a ton of (unorganized) traffic.

You might want to visit http://www.scandiego.com, which is my personal favorite San Diego scanning website.

I'll be in downtown San Diego next Tuesday and Wedesday. I'll be driving from the Inland Empire so I will be passing through the northern part of the county twice. I found a couple of p96 files on the Pro-96 Yahoo Group and I do still have a couple of p96 files that another member sent to me last year. Have any of the systems in San Diego County changed in the last year or so? If not, I am still good to go.
