Notice from RCS website:

“The Legacy RCS Network, in operation since May of 1998, will be shutoff on Monday, February 3rd, 2020. The migration of RCS users from the Legacy network to the NextGen network will be complete before Friday, January 31, 2020. Any active or 'shut-off' radios that have not been reprogrammed to operate on the NextGen RCS Network will stop working at that time.”

I don't know if you guys/girls have noticed this...not good at all. I have noticed that Sheriff and Escondido PD have been using alot of encrypted lately...more than I have seen in a long time....hope it aint going full encryption

I can't speak for Escondido, but no plans for full encryption as a RCS policy.

I need help with my new G5. I have programmed a lot of radios over many years but the programming for this one loses me. It is sitting in the new charger/amplifier with nothing to do. Can I enlist someone to help me get mine set up? I would happily 'donate' a few clams for someone's help. We can get together on LL or email off the forum and talk. Thanks!!! Stacy...

I can send you my G5 programming...at a minimum, it would allow you to see how each channel and each system/site is programmed, and you could select those options in any new channels you create.
