San Diego - Marine Corps Recruit Depot Trunk System

Hello,

I just searched through the San Diego related trunking systems and can not find something that I'm sure I saw, some time ago.

Today, my son is experiencing day 1 of Boot Camp. Unless I'm imagining things, I could have sworn that there was a system that was used by the training folks, broken down by "areas". Now, I can't find it. I know it is a ways off before he'll graduate, but I'd like to get my PRO-96 ready for the trip.

Can anyone help with the information, or perhaps does someone have a PRO-92/93/95/96 file that they'd be willing to share containing the training related TGs?

First of all, congrats to you and your son. I served 20 years in the military. Please thank him for his service, from me.

You can monitor MCRD on this system:

There are a goodly number of other Talk Groups active that are not listed. Maybe you can track them down and submit them to Radio Reference?

Thank you. I did check this one out, but it didn't have all of the TG's that I remember ....or.... possibly dreamed about

I am a regular updater to the systems found in the Southern Arizona area. If I can, I'd be more than willing to update, should I find anything during my visit in the spring.
