found these while doing some reserch on ULS:

10-24-11 pending authiorization:

45.700
45.780
45.900
45.940

153.890

Can anyone tell me how this is going to be set up- licensed to the Sheriff's Office. Could this be the return of the low band simulcast for the East county? locations are temp fixed so maybe only used when needed.

Well, since the County's radio communications division is placed within the Sheriff's Department, all of the County of San Diego's FCC licenses (RCS and non-RCS) have a Sheriff's Department mailing address. The application in question seeks to add 153.890 (a Fire command channel) to the four 45 MHz channels on the existing KQT977 countywide temporary base license. As MtnBiker2005 noted, it is one of five different license modifications to add 153.890 that are in the works.

Over the next few months you will see all sorts of activity in the non-800 MHz realm as we slowly consolidate dozens of different service-specific licenses (many of which are decades old) into site-based licenses covering all 37 to 470 MHz frequencies used at a given location. (There are some of our sites that currently have as many as 10 different FCC licenses, each for a different VHF or UHF frequency.)
