san joaquin vly reception in west sac?

I was wondering about scanner reception in west sacramento of san joaquin valley stuff such as stockton PD, Fire, Co. Sherrif, etc etc. Anybody know how signals are up here?

On my HP1 on my night stand with a factory antenna I am hearing San Joaquin Sheriffs dept. It is not showing any bars, has white noise but can understand just fine.

Also picking up one named Stockton Police Dispatch P25, 1 bar but hearing it.

Once again factory antenna on my nightstand.

The signals on VHF come in 24/7. The signals on UHF vary depending on your exact location, your antenna, weather conditions, time of day, etc.

Stockton PD and Fire are on UHF and vary.
San Joaquin Sheriff, while on UHF is the most likely signal to be received of all SJ UHF signals.
SJ Fire is VHF and comes in 24/7.
