SJFD going to repeater

Still waiting for the main dispatch to go repeat. I did hear them testing about
3 weeks ago and someone forgot to tell the training crews not to use 154.01.
It was funny hearing the training comms coming over on 155.025 and the dispatcher
telling them to stop to no avail. Word has it that Coyote Peak is one of the transmit
sites.

Simulcast repeaters are up and running on the new input/same output.

Just waiting for re-programming which might not not occur until after
fire season for obvious reasons.. ie: too busy and too many resources
out of county.

Glad to hear this. I've been wishing since I moved up here that I could hear everything. Anyone know if they're going to start using a tone-out system too? I want to program my tone-out for my local stations, but of course nothing goes out on the air.

San Jose doesn't use tone-out.

Dispatches are CAD to the station alert and printer over an IP backbone.
