Santa Fe talkgroups confirmation please

I received a lengthy submission from what appears to be an out of area submitter. To me it looks like it was cut/pasted from an online source, but I cannot verify. Can anyone local see if these are valid?

Good afternoon, PJH.

The talkgroups in your post match the ones I have already programmed for the Santa Fe TRS in my radios.

Your list contains many talkgroups that I either haven't heard at all or haven't heard often enough to reliably identify who they are.

I'll be in Santa Fe next week, so I'm going to add all your talkgroups to my TRX-1 to see how well they match up to what I actually hear.

Those match whats in my radio file. Not that order, not the same alpha tags, the TGID's match.

Looks pretty accurate for fire and police. Although I think fire bravo and Charlie are tac groups, not dispatches from what I have heard living in white rock.

bravo and charlie are response
numbered tacs are fireground.

Those talkgroups match everything I'd already programmed in my scanners over the years of listening to the Santa Fe TRS. I was also able to use that list to confirm (with a reasonably high level of confidence) the identity of several talkgroups about which I was less certain.

Your list contains several talkgroups I have yet to hear at all, but that could be a simple matter of not being in Santa Fe often enough to have picked them up. The "wildcard" setting in my TRX-1 is receiving a talkgroup that wasn't included in the list, so even if the list came from a very well-informed or "official" source, it might still be a little incomplete.

I wouldn't worry very much about some of the alpha tag details. Over time, many talkgroups in trunked systems and "channels" in conventional systems become used for purposes that can be a little different from what was officially intended.

Without knowing anything at all about your criteria for doing so, I think it may be okay to post your list in the RR database . . .

There may be a typo in the talkgroup list you previously posted.

7248 (not 7246) appears to be the correct number for the Santa Fe Trails Bus dispatch talkgroup. I don't believe I've heard anything coming through on 7246, but I'll keep listening.

Please take a look at the database. Did a large overhaul and added in geo information to it - that covers the city area and not the entire county.

Please submit any corrections via the submissions tab under the system so I can properly track any changes needed.
