Santa Rosa Police "Tac 5"?

Anybody know what frequency this is? They're using it today 5/30/2020. I took a gander at all SRPD/KMA351 frequencies and nothing out of the ordinary is being broadcast on them.

Nope. Dispatch definitely kept referring to it as "Tac 5" or "Beat 5". Nothing was on Sheriff 5.

There's a tac 5 for fire but nothing for LE I know of. There is SO channel 5 but don't think they would use that in the city. Channel 5 in Santa Rosa's line-up is channel 1 direct. What I am hearing for activity is their Clemars repeater (calaw 5). Maybe that's what they are referring to.

Yes. Santa Rosa PD Ch 3 is CALAW 4 (460.025)

I know. I'm trying to figure out what is "Channel 5" that is referenced on their radio traffic.

I’ve been trying to decode it with Sdr# and dsd+, and the status window just spams something like ‘encrypted audio muting’

but I’m a total newbie with dsd+, so it could be a problem on my end.

You're not going to be able to decrypt P25 without the key.

You're not going to be able to decrypt P25 without the key.

You can decode P25, you can't decode ENCRYPTION. There is a huge difference!
