Nope. Dispatch definitely kept referring to it as "Tac 5" or "Beat 5". Nothing was on Sheriff 5.Maybe Sheriff 5?
Isn't CALAW 5 only for LA county? 484.23750? California - Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency ReferenceThere's a tac 5 for fire but nothing for LE I know of. There is SO channel 5 but don't think they would use that in the city. Channel 5 in Santa Rosa's line-up is channel 1 direct. What I am hearing for activity is their Clemars repeater (calaw 5). Maybe that's what they are referring to.

I know. I'm trying to figure out what is "Channel 5" that is referenced on their radio traffic.Yes. Santa Rosa PD Ch 3 is CALAW 4 (460.025)
Interesting. Didn't think SRPD had digital modes with their radios.I think it's p25 and encrypted.
You're not going to be able to decrypt P25 without the key.I’ve been trying to decode it with Sdr# and dsd+, and the status window just spams something like ‘encrypted audio muting’
but I’m a total newbie with dsd+, so it could be a problem on my end.
