Heard on Sapulpa Fire A Side 33360

Sapulpa Fire has just been toned to a deck on fire that is attached to a house

4613 w 86 st s

E4 E2 E3 L4 QR1 FDO3 (the whole town) is responding

1605
E4 on scene advising the homeowner has self extinguished

dang, sapulpa was building it up like it was going to be something....

and poor accountably, and poor command structure....

I agree Squirrel; I have some firefighter friends up in Pennsylvania, and it's absolutely amazing how professional and well equipped the volunteer depts are up there.

dont quote me on this because im going off what i think i heard but if i remember the statistics right some 75% of the nation is actually made up of volunteer fire departments.

I bet you're correct. Oh, and if you want a good laugh, E32 & a couple other companies are fighting a grass fire around 8900 S Garnet, only one engine is stuck so far :lol: :wink:

EDIT: found some statistics: Almost three-fourths of the nation's 1.1. million firefighters are volunteers, and two-thirds of all fire departments are volunteer.
