Sara Palin - Straight Talk Express bus...

Sara Palin had to make a quick pit stop in Gallipolis, Ohio around 2:00PM this afternoon.

She was traveling abord the McCain/Palin "Straight Talk Express" bus from Tri-State Airport in Huntington, WV to Marrietta Ohio via Ohio State Rte 7.

2nd Avenue in Gallipolis was lined with supporters waving McCain/Palin signs.

At our local Wal-Mart, Sara stopped and went into the store for a box of Pampers for her little one. Took the baby into the store with her.

A crowd gathered and she stopped for a few photo ops on her way back out.

The "buscade" was escorted by a fleet of Ohio State Highway Patrol motorcycles covering the various intersections through town as well as feveral OSP cruisers, what looked like Secret Service Tahoes, two busloads of the press and several other vehicles! They were using MARCS to communicate.

One "protester" in the crowd tried to shout down Palin. But, this is Southern Ohio. The protester "appeared" to be Irainian. The southern country gentlemen in the audience made the protester wish he was somewhere else! He wasn't too happy but he didn't stay!!! And, not a soul "violated" his rights!!!!

A female "protester" looked high and was unable to re-locate where she'd parked her car once the buscade left the lot. She was still looking for it 20 minutes after Sara's bus left!

Very interesting day in the neighborhood....

Searching now, but I don't see any mention of radio frequencies that were used in this thread, unless there were some comms on WalMart's handheld radios when Sarah Palin went to the bathroom?

Sorry if I went overboard here. I'm obviously very passionate about this election. There was but one single sentence regarding the actual use of radio transmissions in the thread, and it appeared to me to be mostly about the actual tour stop and corresponding pictures, which were cool to see.

If anyone was offended, then I'm sorry you were.
