Saskatoon EMS

Hello all,


I recently purchased a HomePatrol-II and have updated it using Sentinel on my PC. I am thoroughly enjoying listening to Saskatoon Fire but am unsure if I am unsure about the EMS channels.


I stopped the scanner from searching and locked onto the Provincial Public Safety Telecommunications Network and was listening to MD Ambulance Saskatoon Dispatch.

I could hear some chatter but was never able to hear any new calls get dispatched out even though the fire channel was getting medical calls assisting EMS. I am curious if I am on the wrong channel?

Any help would be appreciated,

Out of the box, the HomePatrol will only monitor Law Dispatch, Fire Dispatch and EMS Dispatch. The talkgroups you want are EMS Tac and EMS Talk.

What you have to do is go into MENU, look for Service Type and ensure that EMS Tac and EMS Talk are enabled.

Actually, enable all service types possible and see if you will hear much more.
