Anybody know what freq. are used in Wildblue satellite internet dishes..???
The technicians set the dishes for it by using an analog meter and watching the peak.
Anybody know exactly what are these meters and where you can find used ones for sale?? thanks.

Wild blue is in the Ka band downlink, 18.3 to 18.8 and 19.7 to 20.2GHz if I'm not mistaken.

Aaaw, 20GHz aint nuthin. When you get up around 40GHz antennas can get real small and cute and 76GHz the waveguide is about the size of RG-58 coax. At 90GHz ants would have to crawl on their bellies down the inside of the waveguide.

Visible light is around 600 THz (i.e. 600,000 GHz).

I have no experience above 12 Ghz. I don't think I want any either!
