Sorry to ask, but does anyone know if any of the scanners people use in California, interrupt Direct TV Satellite reception?

A scanner should not cause any kind of interference. All a scanner is doing is receiving radio signals that are already there. Interference can only be caused by a transmitter, not a receiver.
