I live in Iowa and I'm getting interested in using/listening to satellite coms.
I have tried different apps on my phone but I can't really pick ones that come into orbit say from 5 to 10 at night. Anyone have ones that pass through during that time?
Weekends are pretty open to if you have info for me
Thanks

For starters, try satellites AO-91, AO-92, and PO-101. They all use 2 meter FM downlink frequencies are are easy to hear using equipment you probably already have.
The problem is that these may not have passes in the 22:00 - 03:00 UTC time range you are interested in

Satellites with UHF downlinks may be more challenging to receive. ISS, SO-50, and AO-27 make frequent passes as well.

For communication satellites, check out:
Under FM Repeater satellites, click on frequency chart to get the frequency information.
