It appears that Saugus FD has completed its conversion to UHF. Heard an announcement and radio test this evening. No transmission on old VHF

Anyone know if Saugus has a fireground freq??

They will probably end up using one of the Metro Fire Ground channels, which I think are simplex.

They should be using Metro North Fire Ground 482.1875 PL 141.3 same as Melrose & Malden. This is a simplex frequency so you won't be able to hear it unless you are close to the incident.

I stand corrected the fire ground for Saugus is 453.525 D251 they actually licensed their own fire ground rather than use one of the Metro channels. It is simplex so you will need to be pretty close to the incident to hear it.
