I heard this channel being used today on a fire. They were talking about waiting on forestry to get there. I live in Edgefield County and no fire depts in my area use Palmetto 800. Just was curious as to what dept I might have been listening to.

what's your nearest county that has a tower close to you?

Thats one of the statewide channels, so it honestly could have been anyone in the state. However the other thread about Darlington County Fire having radio issues, they have been using SCMA 5 and 6 lately.

My closest tower is the North Augusta location. I live just outside Aiken County in Edgefield County.

As of now, 11/10/19 @ 0345 Darco EMS is still being dispatched on SC MA 07. Last call was for 1620 Syracuse Community Rd.
