SC DNR 27414 is operating in the clear in Edgefield County today.
Being a full encryption channel, that is awesome. I caught SC EMD signing out at Aiken County EOC on 28101 as well. I anticipated catching some IDs during the aftermath of storm.

SC CALL has also been active.
Does anyone know how Palmetto 800 held up during the storm? Any outages?
During the worst of it, I heard Aiken Co SO radio folks making plans to switch to their 400mhz system but I'm not sure that ever happened.

They were discussing going over to the regional 150 should they have to. Both SO and EMS remained active when I was monitoring. Aiken County's UHF fire did go down to my understanding.

I didn't detect any site outages in the Spartanburg area during or after the storm. Phone lines (including 911 service) were down for several days, however. 911 is back up, but some other city and county phone lines may still be offline. Spectrum internet service is a total mess, as one would expect with widespread power outages and damaged to above-ground infrastructure.

Are you referring to the 453.15 channel (SCUTAC4)? I know Aiken Co SO also used 453.15 with a different PL back in the pre-Palm800 days. Or do they maintain a 150mhz system?

They still use 453.150 on occasion. I recently heard two of their deputies talking on this freq near my home. They were discussing a call that they were on less than a mile from me.

I'm sorry. That's what I was referring to with 150.
