SC TF 1 Search & Rescue

Palmetto 800 Talkgroup 39808 has been active today on the Georgetown Site. Sounds like drill since they are advising units to contact the USCG on VHF Ch 16 regarding search coordinates but I am not hearing anything on that freq.

Anyone have further?

Finally heard comms on Marine Ch 16 that included identifiers of Catfish & Bulldog simulating search for vessels. There have been hazmat & terrorist training drills earlier in week at the the old Air Force Base and from what I understand a hazmat drill in Murrells Inlet today. It may have been in connection with it.

Another talk group that I heard was on 50896, which I was unable to ID. Comms about VIP transport tomorrow. Any able to fill in the blanks?
