My SportCat 180 took a 4-foot tumble off the mantle onto the marble below. The battery popped out but other than that no damage to the outside. When I put the battery back in and turned it on, it seemed to pick up all the usual traffic, but now it sounds faint and tinny. I opened up the case and nothing appears to be broken or loose. I tested it with head phones and an external speaker and those seem to work ok. Could the little speaker have blown due to the impact? Is there any way to tell if the speaker is blown without having to buy a new one to compare it to? Again, it appears to be fine and the wires are still soldered in place.
