Hello,

Usually I am a subscriber to the theory, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". For the last year or so I've not done so with regards to my feeds.

I have returned to the unbroken method of providing the feeds via Simplecast/Icecast, and there they will stay. Comcast has provided me with a very significant bump in upload bandwidth since I replaced my aging cable modem with a new one. Streaming to remote servers, either Streamwebtown or Wavestreaming (www.wavestreaming.com) proved problematic. The former seemed to have server problems daily, and I seemed to have connectivity issues with the latter even if I looked at the computer the wrong way. The latter was a commercial service that cost $7 per month for each stream.

The feeds are back to being hosted locally, and the links are as follows:

Fire/EMS: http://www.scancapecod.us/livescan/sccfire.m3u
Police/Misc: http://www.scancapecod.us/livescan/sccpolice.m3u

Winamp is of course required to view text tags. Each feed will handle a maximum of 20 clients.

My apologies for all of the last year's changes. I'll behave now. :)
