Usually I am a subscriber to the theory, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". For the last year or so I've not done so with regards to my feeds.
I have returned to the unbroken method of providing the feeds via Simplecast/Icecast, and there they will stay. Comcast has provided me with a very significant bump in upload bandwidth since I replaced my aging cable modem with a new one. Streaming to remote servers, either Streamwebtown or Wavestreaming (www.wavestreaming.com) proved problematic. The former seemed to have server problems daily, and I seemed to have connectivity issues with the latter even if I looked at the computer the wrong way. The latter was a commercial service that cost $7 per month for each stream.
The feeds are back to being hosted locally, and the links are as follows:
