Scan Control users - Beta testing for BC246/396 support

Initial development of ScanControl Version 5.0.x is nearing
completion and will soon be clearing Unit Test. Once clear of Unit
Test we'd like to make the code available to a limited population of
Beta Testers to perform further user testing of the new code sections
that support the BC246T and BCD396T. If you have either one of these
radios and would like to participate please send an email directly to
moderator@scannersoft.com , providing a contact name, current
ScanControl Version # in use, email address AND radio type. We will
log the information and select up to 20 testers for participation in
the program. We'll select testers based on a first come, first serve
basis by radio type, so we get a meaningful population of testers.
All communication of problems / issues / bugs will be via separate
Web Site pages that will be established for the program. Bugs /
problems that are reported will be logged and prioritized for fixes
to be incorporated into the initial release at 3D Technologies'
discretion.

The code will be provided as a download at no charge but keep in mind
it will not be a final released version and therefore will not be
supported after final release. It also may not contain all the
functionality that the current version contains such as foreign data
file imports and control / monitoring.

The close out date for "enrolling" in the program will be August 22,
2005.
