I am learning my way around SDR by trying to scan Connecticut State Police using DSD+ Fastlane 2.18 only (I had a setup using Unitrunker which I used to get LCNs associated with the voice frequencies for creation of the DSDPlus.frequencies file but I am not sure I am using that correctly).
First, is that possible? I read on the Scan-NE website that it is a P25 Smartnet system so have setup the DSDPlus.frequencies file with:
P25, 4B16, 006, 2, 852.65000, 0.0, 0
P25, 4B16, 006, 8, 851.21250, 0.0, 0
P25, 4B16, 006, 17, 851.43750, 0.0, 0
P25, 4B16, 006, 50, 852.26250, 0.0, 0
P25, 4B16, 006, 95, 853.38750, 0.0, 0
P25, 4B16, 006, 116, 853.91250, 0.0, 0
P25, 4B16, 006, 319, 858.98750, 0.0, 0
P25, 4B16, 006, 505, 863.63750, 0.0, 0
I got the 4th column from Unitrunker which shows those numbers as “LCN” – I’m not sure it is correct as the “OTAchannelNumber”. I included the frequencies in the “TXFrequency” column and put “0.0” in the “RXFrequency” column – not sure if that is correct either.
I then start FMP24-CC.bat which contains:
FMP24 -rc -i1 -o20001 -P-0.346 -g36.4 -f853.9125
followed by CC.bat which contains:
DSDPlus -rc -i20001 -v3 -wsl400.2 -wss100.200 -wel0.1 -wcl0.445 -wes400.520 >>CC.log
As far as I can tell, the FMP24-CC.bat output looks ok but the DSD+ CC Channel Activity window shows no activity.
If anyone is successfully using DSD+ 2.18 and can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate your help.
Thanks
Glenn
