What does enabling/disabling download on the scan selection list do?

When you write to the scanner from Sentinel, that determines whether Sentinel will send that favorites to the scanner (On) or not (Off).

If you choose On to download a favorites list, you can select "Monitor" On or Off to start monitoring that favorite list or not after writing to the scanner and it reboots. You can always choose to monitor a favorites list or not from the scanner's menu as long as you chose On to "Download" it to the scanner.

Also, not for nothing. . .

If you set Download to Off, the Monitor automatically is set to Off. (You can't monitor a Favorites List that is not written/downloaded to the scanner.)

If you have Monitor On, Download is set to On. (Scanner assumes if you want to Monitor a Favorites List, then you want it downloaded.)
