Do a search here on RR for ScanCat or SCL and you'll find dozens of threads on the topic, and I don't think any of them are positive.

It works fine for my Pro-94...

Only use Scanxxxx when there's no other software for the intended scanner, such as the PRO94. Most other cases, there's much better choices.

I need to update this article a bit, since the BC92XLT is now supported by the new version of Scan Control. There may be a couple of others I've missed.
