scancontrol and vista

hi, anyone had sucess using it (scancontrol version 5.2.3) in vista? Just tried and it conects to scanner and all but when I go to edit systems in the program I get a runtime error 339, tabcrl32.ocx not registered bla bla bla.... Its no big deal as when I get home tonight going to set up XP in Vmware and run it on a virtual since I have a couple other programs that I got to have that don't function properly in vista yet......thanks.

Have you checked to see if your drivers are up to date,should wait till they fix all the bugs in vista,you should know from past history MS will have a load of problems.

country2, please collect all the error messages, and note when you get them. Either mention this on the Scan Control Yahoo group, or send an email to the tech support mailbox. While RayK is quite right about there probably being lots of bugs in the new OS, it will at least give Ken D the heads-up - particularly since 6.0 is due out real soon now.

Well looks like scancontrol v6 beta is out today. I'm using it now on Vista and its pretty much flawless.
