For those of you wanting to run multi sessions of ScanControl, on the same computer for more than one scanner at a time, Ken posted the solution on the Yahoo Group today!
Just install ScanControl in two different folders/directories. Then turn on radio-#1 on COM1, start one instance of ScanControl, let it find the scanner, then shut it all down. Then turn on radio-#2 on COM2, start the other instance of ScanControl (from the other folder). Now you can re-start scanner-#1 on COM1, with the original instance of ScanControl in the original folder. From there on, each instance of ScanControl will remember what COM port, and what scanner-# it was using previously!
I tried it today with two BC796D's, and it worked perfectly!
