I suspect that a great deal of what he wrote about is outdated at this point. Rockland public safety, for example, made a nearly wholesale switch to P25 trunking after Frank's untimely passing. Almost all of the old VHF stuff is dead or has been reallocated. In fact, at some point after Phil W2LIE took over writing that article, I submitted a story about Rockland's system that he had published.
They would be nice for historical purposes, though.
Does Scanner Digest still exist? I haven't gotten a email in seemingly forever, and I recall that the last couple of issues were many months behind, with many sections no longer being actively contributed to.
