I had the Packers stuff on my feed all of last season and no one sent me any emails or letters requesting to pull the feed. If he isn't broadcasting it that isn't preventing anyone from listening to it. Its not like it is a tv show audio that is being rebroadcasted and infringing on copyright laws. This is open traffic that is able to be heard by anyone.

FWIW I don't care who pushes or pulls thier whatever to wherever and how often..

I do however like to get to the bottom of, or in this case unconfuse myself, about potentially malicious activity going on regarding software I use. I work with some pretty knowledgable networking geeks and the possibility of being "hacked" through an outgoing stream is slim to none IF the owner has appropriate security settings enabled. Personally I feel a hacker would be much more likely to risk prison time by hacking something of financial interest rather than a scanner nerd...

What happened to that wonderful feed? I try it, but it won't come up. The IP is 206.40.113.111. I hear this can be found somewhere, but what is Pro Scan? How do I get the IP to come up? I tried to type it in as a URL, but nothing comes up. I don't know anything about IP's, so maybe I'm doing it wrong. I just want to get this feed back, as it totally rocks. Can the owner of this please message me or PM me, or respond to this, explaining how to do this? I'm not very computer literate, just know the basics. Maybe a website? Please advise. Thanks.

yes the fire feeds still on proscan,all the other ones are on ts2.
sometimes the feeds are down due to power outages like todays.
if your still having problems let me know

I guess we won't ever be getting an explanation of how/why you think you were "hacked"? Still makes no sense to me. No ports are opened for this and even if they were they should be untouchable behind any firewall.

Help with Teamspeak

I downloaded Teamspeak, as it's supposed to have the IP of that feed I'm trying to listen to. Now I seem to be stuck. I was able to connect, but am getting "Midsouth" feed instead. When I disconnected and tried to reconnect with the IP 206.40.113.111, it keeps saying "error". Please anyone advise. I don't know anything about a server, and I already set up my user name and login. Any help on this would be appreciated. If I cannot get this to work, I will have to uninstall. It's too much work to get these feeds. I'd just like to click on a link like I did at first and get the feed. Does anyone know who owns the feed? Can I get in contact with him and ask how to find his feed without having to download complicated software? Or maybe that's the only thing that will work. I've been reading the posts, and there's a dispute of some kind? It's too bad that people whine about things like "too many channels". I feel that's ridiculous.

EDIT: I jumped the gun. I basically connected as anonymous, and am labeled as "guest1". I don't really care that I can't register as long as I'm able to get the feed, which is coming through loud and clear. I'm a stubborn one, and won't give up without trying many things. I'm impressed with the nice sound on Teamspeak. Now I just have to figure out how to get feeds from other areas of the country.

Glad you finally got on that feed.
I know what you mean about it's a lot easier to just click on a link.
It is too bad the feed owner (psr600md) took down the easy way to connect to his feed, I could of helped him solve his problem if he would have just let me known about it before taking it down, and for some reason not answering my emails anymore, after I helped him out with media encoder & got him set up on a server for free.
Guess maybe he thinks I was hacking him.....who knows.
As for the whiners mentioned here, this was just a few messages on a public chat board Shoutbox by unknown people,it could of been the same person posting several times for all we know.
I don't make one penny from wifirefeeds, in case anyone is wondering, So I don't care where somebody puts their feed.

Can we all just get along?

I don't want to start sniping or fighting here. The bottom line is that all of us on here love to scan and monitor, and we're willing to go the distance to find things we enjoy listening to. The bigger the challenge, the more motivated I am to rise up to it. It's all good. I found what I was looking for on TS2, and I'm learning new things. I had fun earlier this afternoon listening not only to the WI firefeed, but also the air frequencies were pretty busy. Pretty neat stuff. This is a hobby for most of us, and we all share that in common. Let's not argue and fight over silly things. Peace.

Sometimes there are feeds up for just a day or 2,and if your lucky you will catch one you like.

I'm on Teamspeak, on Scan Wisconsin, 206.40.113.111:8767, and the police feeds are all gone, only air feeds are on now. What happened to the police ones? Those were pretty cool. Are they coming back soon? Please advise.

Thanks, I'll check that out. Scan Wisconsin is completely off Teamspeak. I tried to call it up earlier tonight, and it won't even come up now. Too bad, that was a very nice one.
