Scanner Feed

I have a scanner feed and I am running a Uniden BC780XLT, I am using a stereo cable from the scanner headphone jack to the line in on the computer. I am only getting voice out of one of my speakers on my computer. I am using PROScan too host feed. Does this scanner only put out mono? I am getting a hum when I turn the speaker up on the computer that i am receiving the feed over the internet. I ordered a Ground Loop Audio Isolator. Would this fix that problem?

In the Audio control>Source Client tabs select "Mono" from the Mode dropdown.
