Scanner for Lynchburg virginia

Does anyone know if this type of scanner will work in Lynchburg va.

i bought a bearcat bcr15x but I am finding out that it will not work here. My area is using a p25 phase 2 .
this is more than I want to pay but can’t find a cheaper one, thanks for any help.

As long as the system you want to monitor is not encrypted, it will work.

If this is the system - you're good to go.

There is no encryption in Lynchburg. If there were, the talkgroup Mode would show DE or TE. I have the BCD325P2 also.
