how old is it? I don't know much about it, I was really looking for another hand held but you never know...

I don't know really. If you google it you should be able to find out what it looks like and some specs on it.

I've got a RS Pro-70 Handheld, 50 Channels + 1 Monitor Channel - Good for VHF Low, Hi & UHF ( No 800mhz or Trunking it predates those. ) and good crisp loud sound. Excellent to Near New condition, includes Manual, Stock Antenna, and a Set of 6 NIMH AA Batteries.

It's been a nice backup for me, but I've gotten a BC246T in the last week so it's time to move it out.
