Scanner programming software question

Guys & Ladies,

I have a question for someone to answer. I own a Apple Macbook Pro 13'' using Mac OS X 10.7.2 operating system. I was wondering is there any scanner programming software for the Mac's? Or is it only for Windows?

Well there is a TCL/TK package called BcProgTool...

BCProgTool.tcl TCL/TK Tool

Otherwise most of the other packages that would work with the 996XT are Windoze-based.

Thanks for the website link. I'll ask my father and see if he'll will let me use is laptop that uses Windows. Any recommendable scanner programs for windows? Sorry I've been away for so long from Scanners and etc.

I use FreeScan, and love it. Not just becouse it's free, but becouse it's good and easy for a newbee. Not complicated at all... I have a BCD996xt and BCD396xt, and no problems on either...
