Scanner Purchase for Baltimore City Police

Hello Scanners,

I've learned that my scanner (Pro-96) cannot pick up the Baltimore City Police very well.

Can anyone tell me which scanner I need to purchase to monitor both Baltimore City Police and Fire?

I'm located in Baltimore City, Bolton Hill. I'm looking for something that is mac friendly as well.

Any suggestions?

Also, anyone want to buy Pro-96, in excellent condition?

Many scanners are having trouble with the City system - they have trouble with the combination of LSM modulation scheme as well as multipath distortion. All consumer grade scanners have issues with this.

You might want to read through the City system thread and make the decision for yourself...
