Does anyone in Kansas record their scanner? If so what type software do you use?

Thanks in advance.

Ive used Scan Recorder. Its a little tough to set up at first but once you get it figured out it pretty nice .

Xcorder is new to me, Ive only had it for a short time and I have not played with it long enough to give my opinion. It has more, what i would call, Eye Candy. Simulated VU meters and dancing Audio Peak lights.

Well let's see, I fried the monitor for my computer. Not sure how it happened, I think it was a storm, but who knows, So that shut things down a while. Then there is work, vacation(short at that), most of the time is spent with a 9 month old, so, you can imagine.

I am currently working on a list of Business Freq's for the Salina Area, more to come on that though. So if you don't hear from me, I'm still around, just in the shadows is all.

( I am not positive on this) I believe Wal Mart, Target and Office Max, use FRS radio's. I have them programmed in and on the south end of town they go crazy. I am 99.9% sure that Office Max and Target do, not totally sure about Wal Mart. Speaking of which, Rick, what do you think the phones that Lowes have are? I've seen them call out and talk to other department's with them. Guess I just need to talk in the 83' with me and see.

I have FRS loaded at the office, but forgot to put them in at home. Will have to try that. Not familiar with what they have at Lowes.

I have them programmed in my scanner in my truck. I don't get much at home with FRS, so mobile may be better, FWIW.
