Hmm, where did you get this bit of mis-information? They are either prohibited or they are not, since LA State Statues do not prohibit them at all, state troopers are not going to care at all. Well I cannot speak about Kentwood, as I have never been there (other than to pass thorough it) but Kenner has no city ordinances in reference to police scanners at all. Jefferson Parish, likewise has no prohibitions against them (providing we are talking about private vehicles) and as I stated earlier Louisiana has no statutes, so...milf said:LA's is not a State Law, it is local jurisdictions.
