Scanner shop?

Hey does anyone know of a scanner shop in the Portland area besides Radio Shack? I haven't been able to find one.

Ham Radio Outlet in Tigard may have some in stock but they are usually higher priced.
Call ahead http://hamradio.com/ There might be another shop but not familiar.

It's extremely difficult finding a reasonably priced store locally that carries uniden products. I ended up at a CB shop looking at outdated scanner models for top dollar. You'll be better off shopping online if you want something other than radioshack. GI Joes website (just JOES now I think) is a good resource and they have sales occasionally, Walmart is another that has carried uniden in the past for a reasonable price.

Side note... Never go into the hamradio outlet and ask about a CB antenna. Those old farts will laugh you out the door. Its a good business otherwise.

The PILOT truck stops have some scanners at times they are even on sale.
