Scanner Software

I am new to this so sorry if I post in the wrong area. I downloaded Freescan and read that it cannot be updated. Is there another scanner software that I can use on a Uniden BCD996P2?
Appreciate any help

Download Bobs Proscan. It is functionable for 30 days before the trial period ends and you buy a key which is well worth paying for.
I was lost with my SDS200E scanner , pressing buttons and hoping for the best until i came across the software.
Now i am out mobile on 10m and other ham bands while listening to my scanner through Proscans web server wherever i am with full control over my scanner while its set up at home.

Highly Recommend Proscan as the best out there for Uniden scanner control. Enjoy your radio either way
