I was recently in myrtle beach for vacation. took both my 250d and 396t, i sold the 396t for a very good price. When I went through the x-rayat ORD i informed the security peiople that i had police scanners in the take on bag and informed them i would open the bag if they requested. No problem at all. The return flight from myrtle beach had the x0-ray securtiyt rolling eyes when i informed them i had a police scanner in the bag. i met this gentleman that wanted to buy the 396t and offered me a very good price for it. the only audio issue was the coppers that don't talk close enough to the mic, unlike the fire dudes that know how to properly talk into the mic.

Assuming you had them all in machine-readable form it would take less than an hour of my time. (I don't charge for computer time, usually.) I make slightly less than that, so I wouldn't be losing anytning, and I'd be making money during time I wasn't doing anything else.

OTOH if you know someone who'd pay me $500 to program 6,000 channels/TGIDs into his scanner, tell him to call me. I'm sure something can be arranged.
