ScannerCast issue with Remote Desktop

I recently set up a feed with ScannerCast with Windows 7 and a GRE PSR-500.

Everything is running fine except whenever I log into the computer using Remote Desktop I lose connection to ScannerCast and cannot restart it from the Remote Desktop session.

If I log into the computer using Logmein, this problem does not happen.

Unfortunately, I really need to use Remote Destop for our application a couple of times a day. Logmein doesn't size the remote screen properly and will not work right with our application.

Is there a way around this?

Usual problem is with the audio.
Make sure you have clicked the options button on your RD client.
Click the local resources tab, configure remote audio settings, play on remote computer.
No guarantee but I hope this helps.

n0nhp has it exactly right: The problem is almost certainly the audio.

Start by implementing the solution that n0nhp prescribed. In addition, in ScannerCast change your audio setting from "Primary Sound Capture Driver" to a specific sound card (and input, if shown).

With these two solutions, you should be all set. I manage my two machines running ScannerCast via nothing but Remote Desktop Client with no problems.

you can also use logmein

pretty nice program

they give you a free trial where you get audio and everything

but you can also choose the free option

it isnt too bad
